The Wrap Process

A vehicle wrap is a process whereby any conceivable design or photograph is printed onto special pressure-sensitive vinyl and applied by hand with heat onto a vehicle’s painted surface. It’s like a big sticker really. A wrap is the newest and most innovative thing to hit the advertising world in years! Think of a wrap as a full-color mobile billboard. However, wraps are not limited to only vehicles. Wraps can also be on walls, floors, or just about any surface. Typical vehicle wraps are good for 3-5 years. We use only the highest quality materials to ensure the longevity of your investment.

  1. Design

The design process begins with an in depth consultation with you about your advertising goals, your message and the desired look of the wrap. Our design staff will then create a proof for your approval.

  2. Production

The production phase of your wrap will begin once the design is finalized and approved. Your design will be printed on large sections of specially engineered vinyl created for use on vehicles, and then laminated to provide weather-resistance and the desired finish – usually either gloss or matte.

  3. Install

Installation typically takes 1-3 days, depending on the size and difficulty of your particular vehicle, and will usually occur in our own facility.

  4. Remove/Replace

Removal of the wrap does require the application of controlled heat and it is recommended that you return for professional removal instead of trying to remove it yourself. Most wraps that are removed from factory-painted vehicles do not damage the paint underneath.
